Special Issue : Approach to immune-allergic diseases in childhood and adolescence
In the past decades, we have seen an increase in the prevalence and severity of allergic diseases in all age groups. Influences generated by the genetic background allied to the environment, including those resulting from climate change, have been implicated in these increases. Furthermore, recent technological advances, not only in the health area, have enabled the acquisition of new research methods and technologies that have provided better identification of these patients. The new approach protocols which bring together these advances, and the development of new drugs, allow these patients better therapeutic approaches. However, there are still some unanswered questions. In this supplement, we are looking for review or research articles on immune-allergic diseases in children and adolescents which offer scientific information at the cutting edge of knowledge.
