Special Issue: Chronic Urticaria
Urticaria is one of the most common allergic diseases that affects about 10% of the population during their lifetime. Among people with urticaria, 1% may develop chronic urticaria of unknown cause. Chronic urticaria is a major challenge in the treatment of allergic diseases. Because the disease is idiopathic, finding the underlying causes, treatment, and approach to the disease is an interesting aspect of allergy research.
Topics covered in this Special Issue include (but are not limited to) Chronic urticaria
-Immunogenetics of chronic urticaria
-Epidemiology of chronic urticaria
-Approach to chronic urticaria
-Urticaria in the post Corona period
Immunogenetics includes articles of basic sciences and physiopathological mechanisms of the disease. In the approach subtitle, differential diagnoses and comorbidities should be considered. In the treatment subtitle, both classical and modern treatments are acceptable. In the post Corona period, the manifestations and outcomes of patients with urticaria after COVID-19 and chronic urticaria after COVID-19 are considered. In addition to the mentioned topics, submitting manuscripts in all areas related to chronic urticaria is acceptable, and the mentioned items are only for focusing on the main topic. All reviews and original articles are accepted. This special issue does not include Case Reports, Letters to the Editor, or Editorials.
